The Queen Of Content

I was born and raised in a small town in Rembert, South Carolina. More than likely, you have never heard of it. I was not born with a silver spoon; my parents taught me the value of hard work, education, to believe in myself, and to achieve what I yearned for in life. I attended a prestigious university, and I was the first in my family to graduate from college. I have always been an avid learner, and I am currently near completion of my Ph.D. in Family Research with a focus on Resilience.

I am also a passionate dreamer, and I often find myself sitting up at night thinking of fascinating ideas and ways to inspire others around me. My journey thus far has not always been easy, but the lessons I learned have been worthwhile. They have molded me into the entrepreneur, author, coach, and motivational speaker that I am today. It is my intention to inspire men and women to live their best lives.

Although being an entrepreneur is demanding, it has nevertheless been an amazing and meaningful experience. Along the way, I have experienced great accomplishments as well as setbacks, yet I have never lost focus on my goals. I opened The Mack Institute in 2014, and it has truly been a fulfilling venture. I am honored to be the CEO of The Mack Institute because living out my dreams has brought immense happiness into my spirit and life. As you continue reading my life’s story, I hope that it inspires you to be passionate, rise up, take action, and begin living your best life now. The chapters of my life thus far have been incredible, but the best is yet to come. I look forward to meeting you as a member of our inspirational community at The Mack Institute.

A Flourishing Career in the Medical Field

I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and received my Master’s degree from Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia. I’ve always known first-hand that I wanted to help others because I am a nurturer at heart. I worked in some of the most prestigious hospitals in the country, and I was soon introduced to the pharmaceutical industry. I reveled in this field, and I gained a keen interest in research and safety surveillance. As a result, I maximized my opportunities, and I have been a contractor with some of the top pharmaceutical companies in the world. That sparked me to continue my research education, and I am proud to say that I am near completion of my Ph.D.

Parlaying My 9-5 into Entrepreneurship

I know all too well what it’s like to work at a job where you’re not fully maximizing your potential. Beyond the daily grind, you envision limitless opportunities and strongly desire to reach individuals in your own unique and special way. This mentality led me to step out of my comfort zone and become my own boss. I knew that the overhead would be tremendous, and I was unsure about leaving behind my lucrative contracting positions. The prospect of owning a business seemed risky, but I proceeded onward. Despite my initial apprehension, I decided to open the salon and use earnings from my 9-5 to finance it.

The Genesis of The Mack Institute

As I began to feel secure with the salon, which is based on women’s empowerment, I knew that I wanted to expand my mission and develop an even more impactful rapport with women. In order to bolster my aspirations, I received coaching training and opened The Mack Institute. The core of The Mack Institute is mentoring through achievement coaching and applied knowledge, and my raison d’etre is to inspire women across the nation to live their best lives now. As a coach, speaker, entrepreneur, and the author of 10 Tips To Set Your Entrepreneurial Spirit Free, Steps to Truly Ignite Your Content & Marketing, and Live Your Best Life Now: 7 Steps to Become Your Own Boss, I wholeheartedly believe in enabling individuals to unleash their full potential and achieve true happiness.
